Well, I peaked at about 210 lbs. about two years ago during '05, but decided that summer I was going to lose some weight.

My brother started me "rucking" like he did with the Army, and I actually got to a consistent level of performance that was better than a lot of GIs. I also started doing push ups and sit ups three times a day to work other muscles mostly in an attempt to get them toned up.

I doubt this will help me. But we'll see I guess.

I did set a date. Sept 8th! Heh, gives me plenty of time :-D! Everyone on the team is training for a half marathon. Some of the guys might do the full though. Should get me skinny again pretty quick.

I got down to about 180 lbs., traded a lot of fat for some muscle, and felt great. Then the winter hit and I started sliding fast. Fast forward a year to post-Christmas '06 and I was back at 200 lbs., though still in better shape than early '05. When I found my jeans a bit more snug than I wanted I decided it was time to get back on the horse.

Right now I'm mostly just doing what I can when I can due to a heavy course load at my college. I've begun being a lot more critical of what I eat but I lack the willpower to stop myself from eating poorly sometimes.

It's going to be a challenge to get down to 180 lbs. by my birthday, but I'm going to try my hardest.
